68 ReviewsLearn how to cook authentic Balinese dishes at a morning cooking class in a traditional Balinese home with the lovely family as your instructor.
Its close proximity to the airport makes Hardy’s Plaza a convenient place to stock up on essentials. The store is part of the Tragia shopping centre; a popular retail complex in the area. The ground floor consists of food, beverages, toiletries, cosmetics, and a range of souvenirs suitable for presents to take home. On the second floor clothes and electrical equipment can be bought from a host of well known global brands. Hardy’s has an identical store on the opposite side of Bali, both of which are relatively new to the supermarket scene. Fresh and organic fruit, vegetables, fish, and meat are a dominant feature of both their stores.
Hardy’s is considered a gourmet supermarket, but from a tourist’s perspective prices are still moderately affordable; very few locals will shop here on a regular basis, and it’s very much orientated towards visitors to the area. This can be seen in the products available, many of which have been imported to satisfy the needs of tourists. Branded beer, wine and recognisable food is a feature of the store that is positioned in a tourist rich area. The prices are however considerably more expensive than other supermarkets.
Opening times: Open daily 08:00-22:30
