Experience Bali - pure experience of the island of gods! Pick up from your hotel by your driver followed by a 1-2 hour drive through the scenic, tropical landscape. You´ll be welcomed by the Balikaru team in a small mountain village near Mt. Batukaru. On this excursion day, you discover the spirituality in the everyday life of the Balinese and immerse yourself deeply in this faith during a purification ceremony. An introduction to Hinduism and Brahmin culture, which is not usually given to foreigners, is also part of your experience today as well as the maginificient UNESCO world nature heritage. The ceremony is prepared especially for you and performed in a very special, spiritual place. Together with the village priest (Mangku) and his assistants you´ll prepare the colorful flower offerings required for the purification ceremony. These he needs together with the rice, fragrant incense sticks and holy water for purification and blessing purposes during the ceremony. The water intends to cleanse your body and mind and get the energy flowing again. The complete ritual will be attended and explained in detail by your personal tour guide. That you are perfectly prepared today, you will wear a Balinese temple dress on this very special day, which the Balikaru team has ready for you on arrival. The priest awaits you at the small temple by the holy spring - a truly unique, very peaceful place in the midst of lush nature. All you can hear is the slow flow of the water and the chirping of the birds. This natural silence is only interrupted by the sacred bells of the priest, which are used to ring in various parts of the ceremony. Let yourself be captivated by this wonderful, spiritual place and surrender to your personal blessing and purification ceremony - a unique, unforgettable experience for life. Body and mind will be refreshed and offer space for new experiences. The impact on nature, the local people and their way of life remains minimal, instead you have the opportunity to engage intensively with them and thus contribute to the preservation of authentic village structures. After purification ceremony you´ll have a break and enjoy a homemade lunch at Warung Balikaru. A very traditional Balinese Nasi Campur Tumpeng will be served, which consists of different kinds of Balinese meat and vegetable. Before you leave Balikaru experience center take the opportunity for a guided tour through the unique herb- and spice garden with more than 30 different species of plants, herbs and fruits. Continue by walking downhill through picturesque mountain village, end up at Belulang Hot Springs. If you like, you can follow the Balinese and take a bath at the traditional sulfur spring. The journey back to your hotel is off the beaten tracks to Jatiluwih, where you will see the most beautiful rice terraces on Bali (UNESCO World Heritage) as well as picturesque Yeh Hoh waterfall. You´ll be back at your hotel around 5pm with memorable experiences in your bag.Includes
