Description

This experience will make you love elephants even more, because you will interact directly with elephants, learn the habits and behavior or lifestyle of these very large animals from experienced mahouts. You will learn interesting facts about why you find elephants sunbathing in the mud during the hot summer months. The driver will pick you up at your place of stay, pick up and drop off service is included in this activity package, because our goal is to provide you with convenience, you just sit back at your place of stay and book without worry, after the trip from your place of stay you will arrive at the location to receive a brief introduction to the program while enjoying snacks and complimentary coffee or tea. Meet your English-speaking mahout, who will tell you about the large animals you will meet, provide information on elephant behavior and how to care for them, and answer any questions you may have. You will be given a selection of fruits to feed them and then proceed to the river bank, where you will be introduced to the free-roaming elephants and have the opportunity to play, feed, and interact with them. After that, you and the elephants will take a walk to play in the mud and sand spa. With a mix of dirt, water, and fun galore, you’ll get covered in mud with your new playful elephant friends. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to observe their behavior. Finally, you’ll walk with the elephants to the nearby Wos River to join them in a session of water play, bathing, and grooming. You’ll then return to the zoo for a shower and change, followed by a relaxing lunch until midday. You’ll be free to explore the entire Area and its collection of over 300 rare and exotic animals, including rare and endangered species such as Komodo Dragons, Sumatran Tigers, Orang Utans, and Bali Starlings. This experience is designed to not only enlighten you about the behavior of these incredible mammals but also give you the satisfaction of participating in one of the most unique outdoor adventures you’ll have during your stay in Bali, whether you’re visiting as a couple or as a family.
